Parking and Transportation

How much is parking for registered hotel guests?

$32 per night for self-parking 
$35 per night for valet parking 
(Both allow 24-hour in-and-out access).

Are both valet and self-parking available?

Valet and self-parking are available to overnight guests. Valet parking is located in the motor lobby off of the Pearl Street entrance. Self-parking is available in the Amway Grand Parking Ramp. The Amway Grand Parking Ramp entrance is located on the corner of Pearl Street and Monroe Avenue.

Where is the motor lobby/main hotel entrance located?

If heading south on Monroe Avenue, make a right onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking. If headed north on Monroe Avenue, make a left onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking.

Is parking for oversized vehicles available?

Yes, oversized vehicle parking is available. Please proceed to the motor lobby for directions to our oversized lot.

Do you have a hotel shuttle?

No. Cabs are available; speak with a concierge or a valet for more information.

Can I earn air miles for my stay?

The hotel participates in the Hilton HHonors Rewards program. In addition to the base points you earn for your stay, you can also earn airline/rail miles with one our participating travel partners when you select the "Points & Miles" earning style in your My Way benefits through Hilton HHonors.


What are the Plaza Fitness Center’s hours?

Our renovated and expanded Plaza Fitness Center is located on the Glass Tower side of the hotel, on the fourth floor. It features an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, full-service locker rooms, full cardio workout facilities, tennis courts, a racquetball court, dumbbells, and weights.

6 a.m. – 10 p.m.


7 a.m. – 10 p.m.


7 a.m. – 9 p.m.

When is the Plaza Business Center open?

The Plaza Business Center is currently unavailable.

Where can I secure my valuables?

There are safety deposit boxes available at the front desk.

What special services do you offer?

Spa and Salon services are available. Also, flowers and gifts can be arranged prior to arrival through our concierge.

What rewards programs are available?

Beginning December 15, 2015, guests can accumulate and use Hilton HHonors Rewards at the Amway Grand Plaza, and earn benefits like free stays, free wifi, room upgrades and more! Sign up for HHonors here.

If you think you may have left something behind, no need to worry! We are happy to assist. Please contact us at with the following information:

o A description of the item - pictures or links for us to view the item would be helpful, if possible!

o Are you local or do you plan to have someone come to pick up the item, should it be found?

What is the hotel's supplier diversity policy?

Hotel Conduct Policy

What are the hotel's conduct policies?

To ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, the following policies will be strictly enforced during your visit:

Hotel quiet hours are from 10 p.m. through 8 a.m., nightly. Loud noise, music, voices, gathering in the corridors or excessive traffic in and out of guest rooms is not permitted and can result in eviction from the hotel without refund.

Noise levels should be at an acceptable level as judged by the other hotel guests and hotel security. If a noise complaint is received, we will only give one warning to quiet down. Receiving a second complaint may result in the guest being asked to leave with no refunds given.

Parents/chaperones are responsible for the conduct of their children/group members at all times.

Shoes and shirts are required in all public areas at all times.

The pool and fitness center are for use by registered hotel guests only.

Any guests found tampering with the hotel fire/emergency system will be subject to a minimum $1,000 fine.

Smoking in any guest room or public area is strictly prohibited. If evidence of smoking is found in a guest room, a $250 cleaning fee will be applied, $500 cleaning fee for any suites.

Our hotel is not pet-friendly. If a non-service animal is found in your guest room, you will be charged a $150 cleaning fee. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Emotional or therapy support animals are not recognized as service animals under the ADA.

The hotel prohibits guests and visitors from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm on hotel property, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. The policy applies to all firearms regardless of whether it is a handgun or long barrel. We reserve the right to request guests and visitors who fail to abide by this policy to leave hotel premises. Failure to leave will result in the Grand Rapids Police Department being contacted. This policy does not apply to law enforcement officers.

The hotel, restaurants, and banquets reserve the right to refuse the sale/service of alcoholic beverages to any individual at any time.

Firearms Policy

What is the hotel's firearms policy?

The Amway Grand Plaza recognizes that hotel guests and visitors may legally possess firearms. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all who visit the Amway Grand Plaza by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on the premises. Please keep in mind that the safety and security of our hotel guests and patrons is of utmost importance.

The Amway Grand Plaza prohibits firearms on Hotel property.

The Amway Grand Plaza prohibits persons from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm on hotel property, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun.

The Amway Grand Plaza reserves the right to request guests and visitors who fail to abide by this policy to leave the hotel premises. Failure to leave at the request of the Hotel may result in the Grand Rapids Police Department being contacted, and may subject you to further legal action for failure to abide by this policy, including trespass.

This policy does not apply to law enforcement officers.
