Host to some of the most noteworthy events in Michigan, and some of the most memorable weddings ever held here, the Ambassador Ballroom is the largest and most versatile ballroom in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. High ceilings and ten gorgeous crystal chandeliers accent its contemporary styling. The vibrant colors throughout the room and the ambient lighting lend an inviting, open elegance to every occasion – which make it an impressive setting for wedding receptions.
As you enter the amazing Pantlind Ballroom, the 24-karat gold leaf-domed ceiling instantly transports you to a period of old-world elegance. With soft, butter-yellow and mirrored walls atop a hand-loomed custom wool carpet, this traditional European-style ballroom has hosted various receptions for heads of state, and cocktail receptions, seated dinners and multitudes of magnificent wedding receptions for nearly a century.
The Imperial Ballroom exudes the grand style of a bygone era. The two-tiered room, with its inviting mezzanine, meticulously restored walnut ceiling and grand staircase provides a spectacular setting for wedding receptions, ceremonies, rehearsal dinners or post-wedding brunches. With its rich Victorian style and stately stone columns, the Imperial Ballroom evokes a regal beauty that adds elements of both surprise and sophistication to your celebration.
Fully restored in celebration of our 38th President’s ninetieth birthday, the Gerald R. and Betty Ford Presidential Ballroom will certainly make your wedding a memorable one. Above your guests hangs a magnificent domed ceiling, which gives the illusion of a distinguished round chamber, though the room is actually square. Large Georgian columns, elegant crown moldings, mirrored wall treatments and gold valances surround this majestic room making it reminiscent of fine Wedgewood china with hues of blue and white laced filigree trim throughout the entire room.
